The Amical Foundation

The Amical Foundation works with communities across north and west India on the everyday things that decide whether a family does well: health, education, skills, tree plantation and water conservation. Much of its work is delivered as corporate social responsibility projects, where a company funds the work and the Foundation carries it out on the ground with local partners. Its teams sit close to the villages and neighbourhoods they serve, so plans are made with residents rather than for them. This role sits within Amical's project delivery team, which turns funded plans into activity that actually reaches people on the ground.

Role

The Foundation is looking for a motivated and responsible Project Coordinator to support and coordinate the running of its social development projects. You will work closely with communities, project teams, partners and other stakeholders so that activities in health, education, skills, plantation and water conservation happen smoothly and on time.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor day to day activities of social projects.
• Conduct field visits and interact with beneficiaries and community members.
• Coordinate with project staff, NGOs, community organizations and other stakeholders.
• Maintain project records, reports, documentation and activity updates.
• Support planning and implementation of community development initiatives.
• Monitor project progress and ensure activities are completed as per timelines.
• Prepare periodic reports and presentations for management.
• Travel to project sites as required.

Requirements

• MSW (Master of Social Work) from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in social development, CSR, community development, NGO projects or a related field.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong coordination, documentation and reporting abilities.
• Willingness to undertake regular field travel.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
