Role

This role leads field level implementation of Project Tarakki, an initiative helping low income women in South-East Delhi build entrepreneurship, financial, and digital skills. The Project Coordinator supervises the Field Officer, mentors entrepreneurs, and supports women in setting up and growing their own micro-enterprises.

Responsibilities

• Lead community mobilization and awareness campaigns to build trust with beneficiaries
• Maintain relationships with community leaders, government departments, and other stakeholders
• Coordinate and help deliver entrepreneurship, financial, and digital literacy training
• Mentor entrepreneurs and identify high performers who can lead peer groups
• Guide entrepreneurs through business planning, procurement, and enterprise launch
• Support market linkages and joint procurement opportunities through peer groups
• Oversee accurate data collection on enterprise performance and revenue
• Ensure the Field Officer and Sahayikas maintain consistent data standards
• Contribute to baseline, midline, and end-line assessments
• Provide inputs for quarterly donor reports and internal documentation
• Plan and organize public launch events to celebrate enterprise milestones
• Document project activities including photos, records, and success stories

Requirements

• Graduate in any discipline, preferably social work, business, or management
• 3 to 4 years of experience in community based projects, livelihoods, or entrepreneurship programs
• Prior experience in field supervision, mentoring, or training delivery preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Basic financial literacy and comfort tracking budgets and revenue data
• Proficiency with digital tools for data recording, like spreadsheets and mobile data apps
• Ability to work independently in the field while coordinating with the central team
• Sensitivity to gender issues and commitment to women's economic empowerment
• Willing to travel extensively within Tughlaqabad and Delhi NCR
