The Hans Foundation

The Hans Foundation is a public charitable trust set up in 2009 that works to build a fairer society and improve life for people who have been left out or left behind in India. Its work centres on the health and wellbeing of remote and under-served communities, with special attention to children, persons with disabilities and women. THF also runs education and livelihood programmes so families can build a steady future. It works in aspirational districts and high-poverty areas across the North, North-East and East, and reaches lower-income and migrant families in cities through its urban programmes. In fifteen years it has reached more than 57 million people, both by running projects directly and by supporting other non-profit organisations across India. This role sits within THF's Hans Wellness Centre team, which brings physical health, mental health and inclusive education support into 50 schools across Delhi NCR. images (28).jpg
