Avanti Fellows is a not for profit working to help students from low income families in India access quality STEM education and stable, well paying careers, helping families lift themselves out of poverty in a single generation. Established in 2010, Avanti runs one of India's largest secondary school STEM interventions, reaching students across hundreds of locations and schools, and works closely with government bodies and CSR partners including the Michael and Susan Dell Foundation, Infosys Foundation, Tata group, and others.

Role

A frontline CSR fundraising role focused on building and closing large corporate partnerships, managing the full partnership lifecycle from pitch to compliance, and helping shape the CSR function as it scales.

Responsibilities

• Identify and close new CSR partnerships, including grants of ₹1 crore or more
• Build and maintain long term relationships with CSR heads and corporate foundations
• Manage the full partnership lifecycle, from pitching to closure to compliance
• Support the development of processes and systems as the CSR function grows

Requirements

• 4 to 8 years of experience in CSR fundraising, corporate partnerships, or institutional giving in India
• Proven track record of managing multiple active CSR relationships and closing large grants
• Strong proposal writing and reporting skills
• Deep understanding of CSR regulations, including Section 135 and Schedule VII
• Comfortable building processes in a scaling environment
• Patient with long sales cycles and driven by Avanti's mission for low income and marginalized students
