Role

The Student Mobilizer (PRO) is responsible for mobilization and monitoring the student life cycle to ensure standard outcomes at Anudip's Electronic City, Bangalore centre. The role involves mapping potential catchment areas, building community rapport, and driving awareness of Anudip's programs to bring youth into the fold across the Electronic City locality.

Responsibilities

• Map catchment areas and communities in the assigned locations that are suitable for mobilization.
• Build rapport with local community leaders well before mobilization begins.
• Create awareness about the Anudip program and encourage communities to take part, so it reaches as many people in need as possible.
• Address communities about the program and its benefits through different ways of communicating, and motivate young people to take up the opportunity.
• Help the center team select young people who need the program most, and make sure each center has good batch strength.
• Support the center team and Area Manager in organising alumni and guest events as needed.
• Ensure steady batch strength across the Anudip centers assigned to you.

Requirements

• Graduation in any discipline.
• Comfortable speaking to groups and to families, one to one and in public settings.
• Able to build trust with community leaders, parents, and young people.
• Willing to travel within the assigned area and spend the day in the field.
• Good spoken communication in the local language of the area, along with basic English.
• Organised, able to keep track of numbers and follow the center's process.
