Since 2012, they have worked to improve how schools teach, ensuring that students especially those from low-income families actually learn and succeed.
Role
You will lead the effort to make school standards better in Gujarat. By working closely with the state government, you will help set up systems that measure student learning and hold schools accountable for their quality.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical and strategic support for learning assessment reforms in Gujarat.
- Coordinate workshops and consultations with government bodies like GCERT and the Department of Education.
- Manage the drafting of policy briefs, progress reports, and research presentations related to the SSSA, CCA and NEP implementation
- Document implementation steps and manage knowledge sharing across teams.
- Contextualize education research to fit the specific needs of the Gujarat school system.
- Support the execution of National Education Policy (NEP) mandates at the state level.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a recognis₹₹₹₹₹ed university.
- 2 to 4 years of professional experience in research or public sector engagement.
- Fluency in Gujarati, Hindi, and English (speaking, reading, and writing).
- Strong technical skills in project management and large-scale program implementation.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
- Deep understanding of the education landscape and governance structures in Gujarat.
- Empathy and insight into the needs of parents using the government school system.
