Location: New Delhi, Delhi
Experience: 7+ years in Government Relations or Program Management
Compensation: ₹83,000 – ₹1,33,000 /month

Role

The Cluster Lead spearheads strategic partnerships with the government to ensure the Right to Education (RTE) Act is implemented effectively. You will be the key link between policy goals and real-world action, driving systemic changes that help children across India access quality schooling.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage high-level relationships with state education departments and senior government officials.
  • Coordinate with civil society partners and academic institutions to build a shared vision for education reform.
  • Manage cross-state knowledge sharing to scale successful education models across different regions.
  • Drive advocacy campaigns using research and field data to influence national and state policy decisions.
  • Identify structural barriers in the education system and co-create scalable solutions with government partners.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure all operations meet high-quality compliance and outcome standards.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Public Policy, Law, Social Sciences, or Management.
  • 7+ years of experience in government relations, program management, or field implementation.
  • Proven track record of working with senior government leaders (Secretary or SPD level).
  • Fluency in English and Hindi to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong technical skills in data interpretation, research analytics, and strategic reporting.
  • Exceptional leadership and relationship-building skills to influence complex multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Ability to travel across various Indian states for approximately 12–16 days a month.
