Role
As a Senior Associate for the Prize team, you will help design, run, and improve incentive competitions that inspire innovators to solve real problems for underserved communities. You will manage relationships, build processes, and coordinate across teams to make each challenge a success.
Responsibilities
- Support the design and execution of prize challenges from launch to completion
- Build and maintain relationships with challenge participants through regular engagement and network support
- Set up clear processes for challenge evaluation, jury management, and smooth program delivery
- Work with marketing, finance, product, technology, and donor relations teams to support challenge goals
- Track progress against program objectives and flag areas that need attention
- Conduct primary and secondary research to define sharp problem statements for prize challenges
- Identify and grow partnerships that support challenge outcomes and help innovations reach scale
- Create content and materials that communicate program milestones and research findings
- Find media and collaboration opportunities to grow the reach and impact of each challenge
- Design and improve program interventions based on what works on the ground
- Build and manage a data structure for challenges and share insights with stakeholders
- Lead communication efforts and guide participants through the challenge journey
Requirements
- A graduate or postgraduate degree, with a bonus for studies in social entrepreneurship or grassroots market development
- 2 to 4 years of work experience in high-performing or intrapreneurially environments
- Strong networking and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong written and spoken communication skills with comfort in data analysis and slide-making
- Fluency in English, written and spoken; other languages are a bonus
- Experience designing data-driven programs and global incentive challenges within the social impact sector.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale events and community convening.
- Strong interest in development economics and behavioural science.
