Role

The Associate Designer will support Educate Girls’ internal and external communications by creating high-quality visual and multimedia content across platforms.

Responsibilities

Design social media posts, reels, and digital creatives that follow Educate Girls' brand guidelines.
Create print materials for offline campaigns banners, standees, posters, backdrops, and invites.
Design visual assets for donor communication, reports, corporate decks, newsletters, websites, and learning resources.
Build and maintain presentation templates that match the organisation's visual identity.
Support design needs for organisational events, partner meetings, and reviews.
Travel to field locations, events, and meetings to capture photos and videos as needed.
Edit photos and videos with attention to framing, colour, sound, pacing, and subtitles keeping the edit clean and purposeful.
Organise and label all visual assets using agreed folder structures, naming conventions, and documentation standards.
Follow organisational policies on content usage, consent, and data handling when capturing and managing visuals.
Coordinate with external vendors, printers, and freelancers to deliver design outputs on time and to quality standards.

Requirements

A graduate degree in any discipline; a background in graphic design or visual communication through education or practical experience is required.
Strong portfolio of design work showing a range of digital and print outputs.
2 to 3 years of experience in graphic design and social media management.
Skilled in Adobe Creative Cloud Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Premiere Pro.
Comfortable using Canva, MS Office, and AI-based design tools.
Basic ability to capture photos and videos on a mobile phone or camera.
Good written and spoken English and Hindi.
Able to work within brand guidelines, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks at once.
Experience in a non-profit or social impact organisation is a plus.
