Room to Read

Room to Read is a global nonprofit founded in 2000 with a simple but powerful belief that education can change a child's life forever. Working across 17 countries in Asia and Africa, they have reached over 39 million children through their programs in literacy and girls' education. Room to Read works closely with local governments, communities, and schools to make sure their programs last long after they leave. They believe real change happens when communities own it.
