Role
Support the Assistant Manager - Projects in running an Undergraduate Scholarship and Skills Building programme in Hyderabad. You will handle day-to-day operations, keep records in order, and make sure scholars receive their support without delays.
Responsibilities
- Collect scholarship claims from scholars, check them for accuracy, and process payments to their bank accounts
- Keep clear records of all claims, pending amounts, and unclaimed funds in databases and personal files
- Prepare fund usage reports for donors at the end of each financial year
- Help review online and in-person scholarship applications, shortlist students, and plan interviews
- Organise scholarship award events and orientation programmes for new scholars
- Build and maintain relationships with current scholars and past students (alumnae)
- Support awareness drives for the scholarship programme and help run skills and training sessions
- Coordinate with corporate CSR partners for employee volunteering activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce or Accounting
- 2 to 4 years of work experience in a non-profit organisation; professionals from a corporate CSR background with a genuine interest in social impact are also welcome to apply
- Good working knowledge of MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and online tools like Google Forms or Google Survey
- Strong spoken and written English; ability to communicate in the local language (Telugu) is a plus
- Able to handle multiple tasks at the same time and adjust to changing priorities
