Role
A dedicated implementer who will partner with the government to ensure children from vulnerable backgrounds successfully enrol in private schools under the RTE Act.
Responsibilities
- Lead state-level operations to increase community awareness and school enrolment rates.
- Coordinate with government officials to design and improve technical systems for policy tracking.
- Manage end-to-end project cycles including campaigns, application centers, and admissions.
- Analyze implementation challenges to provide local solutions for families and schools.
- Oversee the project budget to ensure all enrolment goals and grievance redressal targets are met.
- Collaborate with a network of partners to improve the public conversation around education rights.
- Set up or improvise the MIS system and use technology to ensure smooth policy implementation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s in Public Policy, Education, or Social Sciences preferred.
- 1+ year of experience managing stakeholders like government officials, schools, or parents.
- Proven experience in end-to-end project management, planning, and execution.
- Strong technical comfort in using data and MIS systems to track project progress.
- Analytical mindset to turn complex data into clear operational strategies.
- High level of empathy and a citizen-focused approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work effectively in ambiguous environments with an entrepreneurial spirit.
