Thanal is an indigenous humanitarian organisation founded in 2008 in Vadakara, Kerala. Over the past 15 years, it has grown into a nationwide presence across 19 states, running programmes in healthcare, welfare, and education with a special focus on holistic rehabilitation. Thanal's work spans dialysis centres, palliative care, community psychiatry, early intervention for children, neuro-rehabilitation, schools for children with disabilities, vocational training, and feed-the-needy programmes. The organisation serves thousands of beneficiaries every day through a community-based, participatory approach that works alongside government systems to ensure that people, especially the most vulnerable, are fully reintegrated into social and economic life.

Role

You will coordinate the day-to-day implementation of CSR-funded projects at Thanal's Bengaluru office. This is a hands-on role that combines programme management, donor engagement, reporting, and field monitoring to ensure that CSR initiatives are delivered effectively and on time.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day implementation of CSR-funded projects and ensure activities run according to approved plans and timelines
• Liaise with field teams, partner organisations, and stakeholders for smooth programme execution
• Maintain and support relationships with corporate partners and donors, including coordinating partner visits and review meetings
• Prepare project updates, presentations, and impact reports for donors and internal stakeholders
• Collect, compile, and analyse project data and impact metrics
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and maintain accurate project documentation
• Support proposal writing, concept notes, and grant documentation
• Track project progress against key performance indicators and conduct field visits and beneficiary interactions as needed
• Identify implementation challenges and recommend corrective actions
• Support impact assessment and outcome measurement activities

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Development Studies, Public Policy, Business Administration, Sociology, or a related field
• 4 to 8 years of experience in CSR projects, NGO programmes, or community development
• Knowledge of CSR regulations, impact reporting, and donor compliance requirements
• Experience in proposal development and project documentation is a strong plus
• Exposure to healthcare, rehabilitation, disability inclusion, or education programmes is preferred
• Proficient in MS Office including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Strong written and spoken communication, report writing, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Willing to travel for field visits and stakeholder meetings
