Third Planet Foundation is a Section 8 not-for-profit organization working in the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) sector since 2012. The organisation partners with corporates, PSUs, and communities to design and implement impactful CSR initiatives aligned with Schedule VII of the Companies Act 2013 and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specialising in CSR implementation, advisory, impact assessment, livelihood development, healthcare, education, WASH, sustainability, women empowerment, and rural/community development projects across India.

Role

The Manager – CSR Partnerships & Business Development will lead fundraising, partnership development, and CSR business acquisition initiatives. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in CSR proposal writing, corporate partnerships, resource mobilization, and client relationship management within the NGO/CSR ecosystem, driving end-to-end partnership development from lead generation to closure.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new CSR partnership and fundraising opportunities with corporates and PSUs
• Research CSR trends, funding opportunities, grants, and corporate giving strategies
• Build and manage a strong business development pipeline through calls, meetings, networking, and email outreach
• Develop customized CSR proposals, presentations, concept notes, and grant documentation
• Lead end-to-end partnership development from lead generation to proposal submission, negotiation, and closure
• Maintain long-term relationships with corporate partners and stakeholders
• Coordinate with internal teams for project planning, execution, reporting, and partner servicing
• Develop innovative approaches for business growth and strategic collaborations
• Maintain MIS reports, partnership databases, and regular business development updates
• Support organizational growth through strategic networking and representation

Requirements

• Graduate/Postgraduate degree (MBA/MSW preferred)
• 2-4 years of experience in CSR Partnerships, Fundraising, Business Development, or Resource Mobilization within the NGO/CSR sector
• Strong knowledge of CSR guidelines under Schedule VII, Section 135 of the Companies Act, 2013
• Experience in CSR proposal writing and grant management mandatory
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Self-driven, persuasive, and passionate about social impact
• Strong corporate networking and relationship management skills
• Negotiation, presentation, and CRM/MIS management skills
