ETASHA Society is a non-profit that helps young people and women from marginalised communities earn a living and stand on their own feet. It does this through job-readiness training, support for starting small businesses, and livelihood programmes. Project AtmaNirbhar is one of its ongoing programmes, giving young people vocational training and helping them find jobs so they can build steady incomes. This role sits within ETASHA Society's Project AtmaNirbhar, which trains young people in job skills and connects them to employers.

Role

You will help keep the training centre running smoothly every day, and spend time in the community finding and guiding young people who can benefit from ETASHA's training. The work mixes centre administration and record keeping with outreach, counselling trainees and their families, helping with job placements, and building trust with local leaders and groups across the Vasant Vihar and Mangolpuri centres in Delhi.

Responsibilities

• Assist the centre team with daily training operations, office work, and accurate record-keeping on attendance and outcomes
• Coordinate with recruiters, trainees, and alumni to find job openings and follow up after placement
• Mobilise youth through door-to-door visits, community events, and awareness campaigns, and counsel them and their families to enrol
• Stay in touch with trainees and families to support training completion and job placement
• Build relationships with local leaders, influencers, and NGOs, and support ETASHA's events and activities

Requirements

• Class 12 pass minimum; graduate preferred; freshers with MS Office and data entry skills can apply
• 1-2 years of experience in data handling, administrative support, or community mobilisation preferred
• Strong communication skills, comfortable with community outreach and door-to-door fieldwork
• Self-motivated, organised, and passionate about youth empowerment and skill building
• Able to work across the Vasant Vihar and Mangolpuri centres in Delhi and join immediately
