Goalkeep Advisors is a data consultancy that helps social impact organizations measure, communicate, and deepen their work with confidence. Over four years, they have partnered with 30+ nonprofits across education, health, and livelihoods to help them become data-driven organizations. They work through three steps: designing outcomes frameworks, building data systems, and equipping teams to make decisions with data.

Role

Goalkeep is looking for a detail-oriented, systems-driven manager to handle the day-to-day operations of their Business Development and Fundraising function. You will track leads, manage follow-ups, support proposals, and make sure every opportunity moves forward without losing momentum.

Responsibilities

  • Own and maintain lead and opportunity trackers across all systems
  • Keep accurate, up-to-date records of all active business development conversations
  • Track next steps, timelines, and ownership across the pipeline
  • Prepare weekly pipeline summaries for review with the Sales and Marketing Lead
  • Act as the central coordination point so no opportunity is missed
  • Draft proposals, concept notes, scopes, and pitch materials with the Lead
  • Incorporate feedback and revisions efficiently and independently over time
  • Support basic analysis of business development and marketing data
  • Ensure smooth handovers to delivery teams when opportunities convert to projects
  • Continuously improve business development processes, documentation, and workflows
  • Draft and manage follow-up communication during the business development process
  • Coordinate calendars and schedule conversations with prospective clients, partners, and funders
  • Support coordination for events, cohort interviews, and outreach processes
  • Coordinate with external marketing or outreach agencies and track deliverables

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or operations
  • Strong organizational and task management skills
  • Excellent written communication that is clear, professional, and structured
  • High attention to detail and consistent follow-through
  • Comfortable working with spreadsheets, trackers, and project management tools
  • Willingness to learn and use AI tools for drafting and synthesis
  • Exposure to proposal writing or client-facing communication is a plus
  • Familiarity with the social impact, nonprofit, or consulting ecosystem is a plus
  • Comfortable speaking with external stakeholders on coordination calls is a plus
