Role
Lead gender and inclusion-focused projects from planning to delivery, working closely with government partners, multilateral institutions, and a multidisciplinary internal team to drive meaningful, data-driven social impact.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end planning and execution of gender and inclusion projects from kickoff to closure
- Scope project requirements with partners, ensuring gender-responsive and inclusive approaches are built in
- Develop project plans, timelines, and trackers and monitor milestones and deliverables
- Coordinate across internal teams to align on scope, outputs, and timelines
- Facilitate onboarding sessions and define clear roles and responsibilities for each project
- Identify risks and inclusion gaps early and plan mitigation strategies
- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholder coordination and communication
- Manage regular updates and consultations with state and national level stakeholders
- Track work stream progress using agile tools and organise regular check-ins and review meetings
- Ensure gender and inclusion considerations are integrated into all project outputs
- Coordinate with finance teams and initiative leads for budgeting and periodic reviews
- Maintain project documentation, version control, and reporting
- Coordinate and participate in field visits to support on-ground implementation
- Work with local partners and government officials to gather field insights and course-correct delivery
- Support new project opportunities by writing proposals, concept notes, and applications
Requirements
- 4 to 5 years of experience in project management within development, public policy, public health, or related sectors
- Experience working with government stakeholders and managing multi-partner projects
- Strong understanding of project planning, execution, budgeting, and reporting
- Familiarity with gender and inclusion concepts and ability to integrate them into project delivery
- Proficiency in tools such as ClickUp, G-Suite, Slack, and collaborative documentation platforms
- Working knowledge of data systems, digital tools, or AI-driven governance is an advantage
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in complex stakeholder environments
- Experience in grant management, reporting, or supporting proposals is a plus
- Willingness to travel for field engagement and stakeholder meetings
