Family Planning Association of India (FPAI)

Family Planning Association of India (FPA India), is a voluntary non-governmental organization working for sexual and reproductive health and rights for all, including the marginalized, excluded, and young people. Over the years, the programmes of the Association have evolved to cover a wide range of Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights issues encompassing contraception, safe abortion, safe motherhood, adolescent reproductive and sexual health, child health, prevention and mitigation of gender-based violence (GBV), prevention and management of sexually transmitted, and reproductive tract infections, cancers, non-communicable diseases, and addressing sub-fertility. 

Role

A vital position focused on tracking program success, managing health data, and ensuring that community health services in Pune are effective and well-documented.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and update the knowledge system, collect data, and prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports for HQ
  • Support monitoring and evaluation team during visits and participate in field monitoring across all Pune locations (travel reimbursed at actual)
  • Stay updated on Sexual and Reproductive Health developments and help prepare related documents and awareness materials for the branch
  • Assist in identifying programme needs, supporting research activities, and preparing work plans and budgets under HQ guidance
  • Coordinate with other units, support staff training programmes, and provide regular feedback on data utilization
  • Maintain medicine stock, registers, Bin Cards, and manage data entry on DHIS and Open EMR
  • Carry out any other tasks assigned by the Branch Manager

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Economics, Public Health, Social Work, Psychology, or Sociology.
  • 0–1 year of experience in the medico-social field or reproductive health sector.
  • Proficiency in English and local languages for effective communication.
  • Strong technical skills in statistics, computer technology, and data entry.
  • Solid leadership and coordination skills to work across different organization units.
